About the Artist
My name is Abigail Rose, and I’m a 30-year-old artist based in the Chicagoland area. I’m a free-spirited and open-minded individual who deeply believes in the power of kindness and authentic expression.
I grew up as one of seven children in a home that was equal parts beautiful and chaotic. Our house was always alive with music and creativity, and from a young age, I was surrounded by art in all its forms. Music and writing, in particular, have shaped much of who I am, but my appreciation for art extends far beyond sound and language. To me, art is anything that stirs emotion, tells a story, or speaks to the human experience. I don’t place limits on where or how I see art—it lives in moments, in people, in nature, and in every form of expression that moves us.
Throughout my life, I've been no stranger to struggle and pain, but art has always been a source of healing for me. It has helped me process, connect, and ultimately grow. I’ve never been drawn to traditional paths or defined boundaries. I believe each person carries a unique essence, and embracing what makes us different is one of the most powerful things we can do. For much of my life, I struggled with self-acceptance—but through art, I began to find joy in my individuality and peace in my own skin.
I’m especially drawn to dreamy, whimsical, boho, and retro styles, though I don’t like to limit myself creatively. My greatest inspiration comes from the natural world and the people I share it with—their resilience, stories, struggles, and beauty. I’m inspired by fellow artists, survivors, the music we create, and the love we give and receive.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for allowing me to share a piece of my heart through my art.
